Making our own images is something much easier now than several years ago. We don’t have to search Google Images to find something that we can see in our imaginations, but don’t have the skill or time to create with graphics software. Instead, we can use one of the following generative AI apps to type in a prompt, and see what the computers can do. Let’s see how that works.
Every time we generate an image, a bottle of clean water is lost. So using this technology is an ethical balancing act. Another ethical issue is the ease at which we can create photos that are not real. Here’s an example:
